Grace Kids is the Children’s Ministry Program and encompasses a variety of activities, lessons and opportunities for children ages Birth – 5th grade to get involved in. We believe in helping children to understand the plan of salvation through Jesus so that they may share His plan with others. Our goal is to help kids understand the Bible by presenting it in ways they can understand through creative lessons, music, games and crafts. Our ministry is designed to help children develop an age appropriate understanding of Christ, in a loving, caring and fun environment. Children are encouraged to grow in their faith and love for Christ, as an individual, with their family and friends, and sharing it with those in their community. Curriculum, programs and activities connect students to the church core values; WORD IS THE FILTER, LOVES SHAPES CHARACTER, PRAY AT ALL TIMES and GO TO GROW.
MISSION: “To lay the foundation that inspires children and their parents to grow, follow, and love Jesus”
STUDENT TAGLINE: “Grounded In Grace and Growing In Truth”
Our nursery is located down the hall from our sanctuary but still very close. You can drop off your precious ones and know that they’re being loved and cared for. Your babies will be safe, loved, and will develop in an environment that is warm and welcoming.
Our pre-schoolers are in classes based on age, 2 & 3 year olds in one class and 4 & 5 year olds in the other. These classes are designed to be a cheerful, joyful learning experience from the moment they enter the door.
Children grades kindergarten through 3rd grade meet in Room #118. Children 4th-5th Grade meet in the Sanctuary for worship and then head to Room #120 for class time. 4th-5th Graders attend service typically once a month on the 4th Sunday. K-5th graders all attend service on the months with 5 Sundays.
Children will worship God and study the Bible together. During class they will learn in an interactive environment specifically structured for their grade level. Children will learn in creative and structured lessons taught using a variety of methods so that every young learner can engage and participate. Childcare and classes are available during Connecting Group time following service for all children Birth- 5th Grade. Connecting groups run 10:30 -11:30am.

Welcome to Operation Arctic!
Every day, our kids are bombarded with the message that the Bible isn’t the true Word of God, that it can’t be trusted to tell us the truth about the past or, more importantly, about how we can receive the gift of eternal life. At Operation Arctic, your kids will warm up to the Word as they explore the coolest Book on the planet and discover how we can know for sure that the Bible is God’s written word to us!
For VBS 2019, we’re headed deep into the stunning Arctic Circle that is filled with treasure and thrilling to explore! And be sure to pack your Bible—we’ll be learning all about that breathtakingly beautiful Book that is filled with treasure and thrilling to explore, through bible stories, music, games, snacks, crafts, science and more.
